| Federal Cabinet refers Trans Mountain conditions back to N.E.B. for reconsideration |

| Acting in response to a recent Federal Court decision the federal cabinet has referred certain conditions attached to the Trans Mountain Expansion pipeline project approval back to the National Energy Board for reconsideration. The referral is set out in Order in Council P.C. 2018-1177 adopted on Sept. 20th. The conditions affected relate to the Board's earlier handling of project-related marine shipping impacts. |
